We visited the Kaplan School at Kenmore Square to see what goes on there. A majority of students enrolled in their medical technology training programs are black, African American or Spanish speaking. These students get jobs. They work for kidney dialysis clinics and many other medical treatment facilities throughout Greater Boston. In some cases freshly minted med tech graduates are allowed to work for up to 18 months before they are required to pass State certification exams to maintain their jobs.
Boston University Psychiatry Associates are conducting a research study for people who are trying to cut back or quit drinking.
